Personal | The Ethicurean

We first discovered The Ethicurean a few years ago at the Abergavenny food festival where they were selling their amazing Toffee Apple Cake. Sensibly they’ve omitted the recipe for it from their recently released cookbook so the only place to sample it is at the restaurant. The food is amazing; locally sourced (ultra-local when you consider the incredible walled garden they have at their disposal) and perfectly prepared. We headed there for lunch a few days ago, using the excuse of treating family who were visiting.
