It seems Bristol escaped fairly unscathed after the St Jude storm passed over last night and this morning. It looks like the stronger winds were further south along the English Channel. We’ve had plenty of rain so, as the photo shows, it was nice to see the blue skies again (albeit rather briefly – the windows are resonating with the patter of rain drops again).
