Every August hundreds of hot air balloon pilots and their crews descend on Ashton Court in Bristol for the annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. My planned flight on Friday was cancelled due to high winds (and my lack of enthusiasm to go up in high winds) but, luckily, Saturday morning was clear and calm. Nearly one hundred balloons took off for Saturday’s mass ascent. The fiesta runs until today (Sunday).

If you look closely you’ll see people all over the bridge and observation tower watching us fly over.
I love the guy stood in the middle of the road watching the balloons. Take that traffic!
It always amazes me how many people have trampolines.
