The guys at Thali have just launched their first &#8216;proper&#8217; restaurant in Southville as part of their continued growth. Already a Bristol mainstay they also cater at festivals (I&#8217;ll be popping in to see them at Glastonbury tomorrow). It was (and still is) a lovely commission to take on, involving a loose editorial style as well as stylised food shots such as this. More details about the shoot after the break.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe lighting was kept really simple, a single head with a large softbox and, when needed, some reflectors to fill in shadows or give a nice finish on cutlery and plates.
