As hard as the bike industry can try, making production as carbon neutral is a hard task. Bamboo, on the other hand, is a carbon sink, absorbing carbon during its lifetime. The net result for bamboo bikes is a carbon negative bike frame that, at least, helps to offset the carbon debt incurred from assembly, parts and shipping. Andy and Laura started Netham Bamboo Bikes<\/a> in Bristol where they assembly each bike. They were featured in Cyclist magazine<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
