{"id":1086,"date":"2013-08-11T10:11:13","date_gmt":"2013-08-11T10:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bristolphotoblog.com\/?p=1086"},"modified":"2013-08-11T10:11:13","modified_gmt":"2013-08-11T10:11:13","slug":"bristol-international-balloon-fiesta-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adamgasson.com\/blog\/bristol-international-balloon-fiesta-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every August hundreds of hot air balloon pilots and their crews descend on <a title=\"Ashton Court\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bristol.gov.uk\/page\/leisure-and-culture\/ashton-court-estate\" target=\"_blank\">Ashton Court<\/a> in Bristol for the annual <a title=\"Bristol Balloon Fiesta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bristolballoonfiesta.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bristol International Balloon Fiesta<\/a>. My planned flight on Friday was cancelled due to high winds (and my lack of enthusiasm to go up in high winds) but, luckily, Saturday morning was clear and calm. Nearly one hundred balloons took off for Saturday&#8217;s mass ascent.
