Last month I photographed the very nice and very talented pair of Deap Vally during Dot to Dot on the good ship Thekla. Rhythm have their feature on drummer Julie Edwards in this month’s issue with my portraits and live shots (including a few from their Glastonbury set). It’s on sale now!
I kept the lighting really simple for the portraits – using a single ring flash for all the shots (I had only had a few minutes with them and it was on the upper deck of a boat full of drunk people enjoying a festival…). I think the look really suits their sound though.
